roberto also suggested some different places to run in mazatlan when we are there next week. that
is helpful.

5x1000

1 mile warm up
5x1000 @ 4:24, 4:24, 4:26, 4:36, 4:45
short jog warm down

4.5 miles

i was supposed to do the 1000s at 4:50, but the first one was just faster, and i kind of wanted to keep it there. so i did. I slowed towards the end kind of on purpose. i think i could have stayed under 4:30, but it would have been extreme effort and i don't think that was the point of today.

to torreon

3M slow
3M fast (8:06, 8:05, 7:52)
10x100 3/4 speed

(7.5m)

tiba gave me the program for the next week or so. wow, it's gonna be hard. can i really do the lala marathon? i guess so. Roberto was a little upset that tiba came with a program. oh well. that's their problem. i hope they both continue to help me. Why all the egos? oh well.

my run felt really really good.

39 days until lala. ahauhauhauhdfaudghuh!

a great idea

I know i know!!!

I have been told to keep a running journal to help keep track of my progress, my mileage, my habits, and my injures (what injuries?).

I have tried several times, but I keep forgetting to log my miles each time i run.

Maybe having a public place to post my stats will help keep me motivated.

There are already 2 running-related posts in my other blog which describe yesterday's 1/2 marathon.

Good luck, self!
